Sliding supports reduce friction between structures, especially in cases of significant horizontal loads. Our sliding bearings consist of a carbon steel body with a sliding insert:

• PTFE of different qualities depending on the contact temperature given in the installation, up to 200ºC (see enclosed download) . Its main advantages compared to other sliding materials are: lower costs and longer operational life due to their maintenance-free quality.
  
  
• Self-lubricated bronze graphite, usually used for contact temperatures above 200ºC, when PTFE is not possible.
